it's not really so much passion, it's more run out of steam. they've all been having to play each game a lot harder because of what all was lost, and that type of gameplay is starting to catch back up to them

that and they are having to give 2-3 walkons significant playing time

they've run out of gas/steam

It would only take one of those Prince deals (early on, the steal, when he throws his hands up and pouts while the other teams goes for an easy layup) And that dude would be at the end of the bench watching!!!!

not even close. we don't have to play 2-3 walkons.... but we choose to play 10 guys a game. ALOT of teams play 8 guys and don't run out of steam.
