Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

1996 Honda Accord. Third car I ever owned. First two were caddies that lived short life's. Gave it to my parents with 220,000 miles. They got another 60,000 out of it before we had to Old Yeller it

On my second Honda now..not sure I will ever switch..maybe Toyota.

Most reliable cars on Earth. Hard to tear one up if you can simply keep oil and water in it. Best motorcycles are also Hondas. When it comes to small engines, theres a huge chasm between a Honda and any competitor...such as in lawnmowers, pressure washers, mortar mixers etc. They last forever. Briggs, Tecumseh, and to a lesser extent Kohler and Yamaha are junk in comparison. Honda has great engineers and they make reliability priority #1 in their products, especially engines. They also make the best manual transmissions in cars south of a Porsche. Per " Car and Driver", " Road &Track", and my personal experience. I have had many different Hondas and never regretted buying one. Reliability is priceless.
