Brought in Maine. This is one of two opponents on the schedule brought in to take a beating. This is the last of those (played Rhode Island earlier).

The rest of the of the schedule is pretty much Florida schools (who can all play) and the SEC.

Score?

There are a few northern schools every year that barnstorm the state of Florida for the entire first month of the season. I don't know what they do about classes.

Maine has played a tournament in Port Charlotte, two in Winter Haven, a series against Bethune Cookman, a series with Florida and one more tournament in Winter Haven left to go.....all in the first month.

I can't imagine they are traveling back and forth. So, again, it's interesting to know what they do for classes.

It's one of those situations where people think football players have it rough and the academic demand is so much easier for football players than most of the other sports on campus.

Gameday is on a weekend. They only travel 4 to 5 times a year. etc, etc, etc.

I gotcha...how many football players would go spend the summer in the Kansas League, whatever that's called, or Alaska, or Canada...

Houser on w/an infield single, 2 outs for Brodie

Agree with you 99 student athletes (all sports) have to juggle training, academics, games, and travels yet these young men and women do it so well. Cuddles to the many people behind the scenes that assist these athletes to make it all possible, in order for us fans to enjoy these college sporting events. :clapping::rock::thumbsup:
