Official Green Bay Packers thread

I would not object to this if they did. He is frustrating to watch, and since they won it without him last year I would not miss him.

Why is Starks taking Grant's carries? Who's the idiot making that call?

The Bears punt return at the end was a thing of beauty. Too bad they were called for holding on the opposite side of the field.

Thank god I have the Packers. Unlike the Brewers, they actually deliver the goods. Another win today in workmanlike fashion. I am starting to get concerned about the secondary, which has been lit up regularly this year. All it takes is one off game for the offense and we can get carved up like a turkey by a New England or New Orleans in the playoffs.

The good thing about getting carved up by either of them is that their secondaries are equally bad, and our passing game is better than both of theirs. It would be a high-scoring game where we'd have the edge.

Just be glad you guys are concerned about the likelihood of your team having an off week in the playoffs and not winning a second consecutive Super Bowl, while the rest of us are questioning whether or not our teams will be able to string enough wins together to make it to the postseason, and call it a successful season.

:wink2:

Been there, done that. Hated it.

Hell, I grew up with the Packers in the 80s. I deserve every amount of success for my team that I can get. I shudder to think of Lynn Dickey, Randy Wright, Mossy Cade...ugh.

Touche. I grew up with Favre, then suffered through Favre, and now I'm enjoying the fruits of Ted Thompson's labor.

So is it just me or is this the quietest undefeated team there's been? Meaning, when the Colts flirted with going 16-0 in 2005 and 2009, the Patriots in 2007, and even the Saints in 2009 as well, all those times it was hyped from about the 10th week or so on. Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention, but the Packers are 13-0 and seem like it's not really that big of a topic.

Is it because we've been burned so many times that we won't believe it until a 19-0 team is holding up the Lombardi trophy? Or did I miss something that the Pack are going to rest starters after they wrap up homefield? Or is Tebow stealing all the spotlight?

Packers undefeated season just might be ending today...in Kansas City of all places. Go Chiefs!
