The Alabama boys, Lebo and Gottfried, won't be going. Pelphrey was rumored to be confused by the question. Ford's demand for a Kelvin Sampson-proof cheating clause ended him. Tony Delk was asked but couldn't read the email. Rupp was dead. Pitino was white suit shopping. Howland called them idiots. Lute was combing his hair, Weird Science style. Calhoun was being an acehole. Boeheim was whining. RoyWill was crying. K was coloring his hair and changing rings.

I recall you stating that UK would be in the National Title discussion next season based on their talent.

Do you still think this?

If so, it seems like a pretty easy sell to a top notched coach that the cupboard is full at a legendary program like UK.

If not, do you think Gillispie was the only coach that could win with the players that UK has?

I don't think they would have any idea who is going to be there.

It seems logical to create a thread to keep up with every coach who publicly denies interest in the Kentucky job. The list so far:

1. Billy Donovan.
2. John Calipari.
3. Jay Wright.
4. TBA.

Do you have a link where Cal publicly denied interest?

I don't think he denied it, but he just said he was happy at Memphis. I think John would listen to a offer from UK. (who wouldn't) but in the end, John knows where home is. (IMO)

"On Friday, a source told O'Neil that Calipari 'likely would not be interested' in the job but on Sunday, multiple sources said Calipari is indeed interested. A source also said Kentucky was gathering information on Calipari over the weekend."

Sources: Memphis coach John Calipari, UK now have mutual interest - ESPN

That gave me a chuckle.

What does Cal eat for breakfast?
Has he ever had a DUI?
Is he a womanizer?
If he was going to have an affair what is his cut off age?
Does he stare at cheerleaders for more than 3 seconds?
