Although I want Gruden, I really think many fans are setting the expectations way to high for him. Does anyone realistically believed that if Gruden comes, we are going to start winning championships annually? Thats just fantasy land. Although we have talent, its painfully obvious that said talent has not been properly coached. I honestly believe its going to take a minimum of 2 years to get this team where it needs to be.

While Gruden has been away from coaching, its not like he has been away from the sport of football. He didnt just retire to some nice house eating donuts all day. The guy has been spending almost every waking day analyzing the game. As far as the X's and O's are concerned, there is very little difference between college and the NFL. As a matter of fact, I would say the NFL is harder to scheme against. Would recruiting be a concern? Yes. But thats why you hire a great recruiting coordinator and more so a great staff.

Adulting is hard. My daughter is now a freshman at UNC, I really miss her, but it's amazing how my wife and I are getting back to just us, kind of awesome.
