I went on that same plan in 1992, broke my leg and was sent home. Like a jackazz, I never attempted to go back.

I will be pursuing this part-time as a reserve. I have no intentions of quitting my day job, and frankly, I can't. The Marines may have options for pilots as a reserve, but I haven't investigated. For fixed-wing, fighter track, I'm too old... way too old. The Navy cuts off at 26, and the Marines and Navy are tightly linked.
