Nah, I'm just a 28 y/o that works nights. I've heard about the Boundry but never been myself.

Graduated from Hillsboro in '08. LOL not easy being a Vols fan in Nashville.

Well I'm just a 47 year old that works swing shift my friend. Didn't mean to sound all coupe deville. Got some buddies that are alums of vandy. I went to 3 colleges and escaped without herpes or a degree. Lots of vol fans in the Ville though.

What? His avg recruiting rank the last 5 years is 25 in the country! In that same time his avg record is 8-5. He did have one 10 win season in there. Still he is NOT playing with garbage players. IMO he underperforms with the talent he has!

Mullen doesn't light my fire either. But 8 wins in the west to me is as good as 10 in the east. Their recruiting might be 25 in the country, but I bet it was last in its own division behind Bama, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss and maybe even Arkansas. Still don't want him. But just saying.

Yeah, no degree here, I've always been very shy and antisocial, so the whole college thing just wasn't for me. But, I'm single and make enough to pay bills and still enjoy things I like (catching Preds/Titans/concerts when I can).

You're right about Vol fan over here...definitely plenty of them. But still having to see black & gold all the time...

You've figured it out my man. Meek is the new black. The black and gold has usurped the orange and white I'm afraid. UT is #3 in the state until our home = our house.

Try growing up in East TN as a Vol Fan, graduating from Vandy (I wore my vols gear on campus just to piss them off) and then moved back to East TN.

People say "you went to school where...what's up with that." No one seems to get the concept of going to the best academic school you get into.

Question for you guys this a.m.

The Currie to Martinez "will hire a coach by the 20th or they'll be a new AD in Knoxville" comment I keep seeing...where did that come from?

Didn’t know they admit anyone but Asians and wealty legacies from Texas these days. You must've been part of a diversity program.

This is the first time in 6 weeks I haven't been caught up. I desperately want to ask for a recap because I'm 100+ pages behind.

But I won't. I'll read through everything.

Take notes kids.

I've had a couple of times I've just felt weary and disinterested in catching up, and I start to just read every other page. Made me feel cheap and dirty. Every page it is...

I went to the game this year against UGA, and against FL last season (my first 2 games at Neyland. Man, it's such a different feel in east TN...it's all Vols everything. I would wake up in the hotel and turn on the local news, and they would be covering the Vols nonstop. You don't get any coverage here in Nashville like that. The folks there also seemed like the kind I'd like to have a beer around a bonfire with...not like the hipster-ish crap around here.

I've lived my entire life in middle Tennessee Nashville/Murfreesboro, but always felt like I was visiting home when I went to Knoxville.

It was different when we were winning big. You could go to Knoxville and have shirtless rednecks threaten to beat you down in the street if you didn't respond to a 'GO VOLS!' with sufficient volume and intensity. The passion isn't there right now.

It sure is a trip going back to ktown. Billboards everywhere. Commercials non stop about UT. Here in Asheville they don't believe in sports. Unless it is soccer.

Well I'm neither Asian nor from Texas, however, I probably was a diversity admission given that I was a poor redneck from East TN without any connections, money or family influence. Hell, I was the first in my family to go to college at all.
