The post seemed to imply that he was working on the negotiations and through that representation confirmed the scuttlebutt. He's posting more a lot more information about his representation of a client than I would be comfortable blasting out on a message board.
Even if he's not divulging any information that the client hasn't consented to disseminating, I would be uncomfortable with the way he spread the information. He did it in a way that seems shady and ethically iffy. Regardless of what people think about lawyers, the state bars don't look kindly upon actions by attorneys that give a poor reflection on the practice of law.
