I've made my peace with the season finale of keeping up with the gruden, it just reeks so much of the past hires and past silent commitments that never came to fruition.

The stages of gruden:

1.) deal for coach a is done.
2.) there will be a media blackout, don't be surprised if so & so goes dark, etc.
3.) keep the faith on coach a.
4.) coach a will be announced on ____ date and ____ time.
5.) coach a and six degrees of separation with every source.
6.) flight tracking coach a for dummies
7.) silence
8.) tennessee has shifted its sights to coach b, c, and d.
9.) tennessee would like to announce coach e as its new head football coach.
