I agree Gruden>>Saban in the NFL but..................I was told there was a secret meeting between Thorton and Haslam. Haslam asked Thunder what he thought about him offering the Browns job to Gruden. Thunder gave him an icy stare then roundhouse kicked the **** out of him. Haslam realized that it was a bad idea and has removed Gruden from any consideration for the Browns job. Just what I have been told.

Maybe it is a situation with getting a staff together, or its paperwork, etc or maybe even a negotiation with Dools on a buyout.

As has been said earlier, there is a lot that goes into the timeline that most dont know about.

I've been lurking in the original Gruden thread as well as this one.... and coming out to say I'm officially all in on Gruden.

If we do get Gruden, it will be the most excited I've been about Tennessee football since January 4, 1999.
