You are probably correct in that they were D1 players, I should have said not SEC caliber talent. Even the biggest DD supporters would have to agree with this. I mean our OL and DL were the size of Bama, LSU, FLA, GA and USC's linebackers and fullbacks. We were undersized at every position and woefully slow team wise for the SEC. If you want to argue they were all D 1 talent ok, but they certainly weren't SEC caliber winning talent.I get people claim that, it being fact just can not be proved unless Hamilton was quoted as such. As for our roster being 3/4 full of NON D1 players, I call bs. Of the 70+ kids on the roster, I would bet most all of them were on scholarship. UT does not sign players who are not D1 players. Maybe Dools could not do anything with them, but he has also proven he can not do anything with 4-5 star players either.
