Ron Zook was fired after 3 years even though he won @#10 FSU in their final regular season game.

With Zook it was "too little too late". The writing was on the wall and a far better option was ready and willing to come in.

But that was end of season. I'm assuming he was talking about a midseason firing. Would be a PR stink to fire him coming off an upset. Would just make it bad timing

Well thanks there volfan4evr. Some of us may have small post counts but we post when we have meaningful info. I've been around a long time, and you would be surprised who some of the posters with small post counts really are.

Some mighht even have some pretty damn good connections, or some may be the connection.....
