Just an FYI one of TOS is saying that somewhat of a deal has been in place/a verbal commitment has been made in the last 48 hours. TOS is essentially the one that first started this Gruden talk if I remember correctly, and they also have several insiders. I know some of the insiders here post on that one, and the posters over there seem much more positive that Gruden is coming. Just thought it was interesting.

The same could be said about Holmgren at GB. Nothing operates in a vacuum. You can only go on what happened, not hypotheticals.

Of course we all know how important Manning was to that team, but we have no way of knowing what would have happened otherwise. Dungy would have had entirely different personnel if Manning was never there.

The fact is, Super Bowls are never guaranteed. When you get to the playoffs, you have to coach the games and win the games.

Just look at GB last year. They were clearly the best team in the NFL, but still managed to screw it up.
