Posted this in the OTHER Gruden thread and noone wanted to answer and im curious as to why something hasnt been said.

Question: How in the world has something not came out of camp Gruden? Even if an offer hasnt been extended, with all the talk about Dooley being canned and him being the first choice, surely someone has asked him about it.

Probably doesn't want to comment on a job that is not currently vacant.

It's only sold in WI. Spotted cow is a lighter beer. I'm not a fan personally, but a lot of people up here love it.

That's too bad. Being near St. Louis, Chicago, Wisconsin... sometimes I'm lucky enough to find beers or pizzas or whatever that are only made locally but since I'm close to them all, some places in Iowa City will pick it up and carry it. Chicago is 4hrs, St. Louis 4.5hrs, Wisconsin 4.5hrs. We get a bunch of deli stuff from Wisconsin that appear to be smaller companies. I've found these frozen pizzas from right outside Chicago that are handmade and the company only has 20 employees. I always enjoy finding local stuff from other places/small companies because the quality tends to be better.

I think it would be a bad PR move for anyone from his camp to comment before Dooley is even fired.

I can agree with that. But as I said above, wouldnt an article be out there that he wouldnt comment about the job for us Vol fans to spin a 100 ways?

I got a little obsessive. Started following all the high school recruits I could find. Had to step away. This needs to happen soon before my friends have me committed.

Not really. If he were coaching somewhere, the local media would have access to him every day and he undoubtedly would have been asked about it by now. TV analysts don't hold regular meetings with the media. Probably a good thing as we would have had to endure the standard denials of interest and everyone would be freaking out over that.
