Coaching is the only advantage you can legally pay for in college football. We have been paying for our disadvantage. We owe it to our players to get them a coach who gives them a leg up.

We need to take advantage of our penny bank if we want to win a title.

Yes. I agree with all that...

How is any of that in disagreement with when I said there is no way we have ironed out a deal with Gruden already. We're interested. He may be interested. He's not locked up.

I read Slice's version and it didn't make any sense either. What AD, besides possibly Bama, would balk at having their boosters hand deliver Gruden...especially when your current coach is Derek Dooley?

Officially believe Gruden is coming. If you can, go to twitter and look at @VolFreak's tweet. Its a pic of Our Savior Jon Gruden watching The Tenn vs SC game and taking notes while on a plane.

I am starting to wonder the same thing. Other than people in the old city and people huddled around a cell phone chanting Gruden, all I remember from Todd is constant argument and an inability to play well with others lol.

No offense Todd, I learned a lot about who is who around here in the last week or so. It took me a minute since I am not an old head here and rarely posted until this situation came up. OrangeSlice is obviously wired to the AD in some kind of way.

Thing is Slices info comes from the AD as does Skeeters, Spartys, and LWS I think. Others, myself included, know people close to the program and a lot of people that work "around" the AD. I know no one anymore in the AD after all the attrition during Harts tenure. My friends in the AD are no longer there and most no longer in town, taking jobs around the country.

That being said, I am going to ignore anyone that has an argumentative attitude. No reason for that now. I firmly believe Dooley is on the way out and Gruden is on the way in.

Closer than I thought but just another one of many moral victories. Can't believe we are 0-5 again. Hope to goodness a change is made in the next day or two.

There is no way to tell which game he is watching in that picture.

I don't understand why people think I am or claim to be.

...and I don't play well with liars and trolls. :)
