I just txted the 1 player on the team that I know and asked if it's true.. all he said was "I know Dooley gone but that's all I know."

Is it really possible the players wouldn't know at this point?

So who all has said that it's a done deal besides SBV? Out of the group of "insiders" of course.

Most of them know what we know. Even a former player who is still in college told me yesterday he knows about the rumors.

This is too much! I am ridiculously happy today. Last Night I went on a great date with a beautiful girl at Market Square and she was all dolled up in her UT colors, and today I have gotten good news after good news on this board.

I can't contain my smile, life is good :happy:

Interesting that so many doubters feel the constant need to shoot it down as if we need to get a life. Think about that for a second while I go spend my time telling people God doesn't exist on a religious forum. They're so dumb for believing in God, says the guy who has nothing better to do than tell them God doesn't exist. If you know God doesn't exist and Gruden isn't coming to Tennessee, you have more problems than the people who believe. You sit around and read/comment on stuff you don't even believe in. How pathetic is that??

If they know he's gone and with as much penchant as some of them have had for hanging it up in a game the rest of this season could be a bitter appetizer leading into next season.

I know this is already out there so I don't mind sharing a few extra nuggets with yall. I don't have nor have I ever had any inside info. However, I'm close to a few in the AD. My cousin worked in sports information until last year, I went to high school and am still friends with coach clack (aka Red) , and go to church with someone in the AD who many of you will know (his wife has babysit a certain star player's child during away games.)

Anyways, I've never asked him for info for whatever reason but he posted on facebook that gruden was a done deal then quickly removed it. He's as inside as you can get. Again, this is old news but for yall doubting others' sources just thought I'd share.

I know one that does, or he has been reading and bought in. Got a message that said he is "beside himself" with excitement.

Not sure how official they have made it with those on the team from an institutional standpoint but if we are hearing it from our sources close to the situation it is hard to imagine it is all a big secret to the players.

If you are a current player and you are contemplating entering the draft , does affect your decision? Full steam ahead or stay and get coached by Gruden?
