Just told my wife that a guy with the twitter handle Knoxswag said that Dooley has been informed that he won't return next season.

Didn't realize how ridiculous it was until I said it out loud.

Talked to one of my buddies on the team and he said he didn't know anything about a firing, but that all the coaches wives were crying after the game and that Hart and Dooley rode back together on a separate flight.

I still think if he won out, he would've been retained. We don't have to worry about that anymore, though.

If he won out, or even won out but lost the bowl game, I would have been perfectly happy with him coaching next year.

Offense really isn't our issue. We need Gruden (or whoever) to bring with them a defensive mind that can recruit and coach. Not one or the other as we've had the last two coordinators.

I have very high hopes for Peterman and a coach like Gruden would really help out Peterman, Worely, Ferguson or whomever else he brings in. A QB's dream!

Im calling BS on that....The same thing was said about Hart and Dooley flying back together after the Miss St game.As far as coaches wives crying..thats just stupid..

Fans have complained about the brutality of our schedule the past 3 years, if we were winning it would be a NC title run schedule, just saying
