If he is serious about this job he must realize how important it is to let the world know he is coming soon so all the recruits will all take a second look at Tennessee!

I have annoyed people so bad on Facebook with my constant Gruden posts. Haha. Two days ago I stated no more Gruden posts until the announcement. The wait is killing me!!

Also does this job have to be open for 10 days or so before we can hire some?

I agree, it doesn't seem like the AD would have interest in keeping it quiet, yet others would want to get it out there.

On the other hand, what we have learned the past weeks is that the boosters do what they want, when they want. Hart is powerless to control that.

Another thought is that due to recruiting and a desire to generate buzz, they could be spoon feeding all of them to keep it on the front pages.

Stop the act, your defense of Ainge in all of this is very telling. I am done with discussing Ainge with YOU. This circle of ring around the roses convo is old and stale with me.

I am done with EA knowing or not.

He is certainly reporting exactly what he has been told and read on here. He isn't any more connected than myself or any other poster that doesn't have any sources. We just have to choose who to believe. He believed Larry for the denial period and just like many of us he the mounting evidence has converted him.

THIS! November 25th is to seek permission to talk to Mora...Hart showing the fans that HE is going for the home run...
Then days later we hear things are moving slow...then a couple other names pop up as Hart talking to and then...BOOM...the media starts breaking Gruden has talked to UT and it's all official.

I'm not even an insider and I can see this coming out...we know that even if the boosters make it happen they cannot show to the world that the Hart has no power and is a puppet because that will lead other contract negotiations to go the agents way, not Hart's...

He will seek permission on the 25th, doesnt mean he will talk to him before the pac12 champ game. Even if they deny permission, Hart will still contact him if he chooses. The ethical thing to do is ask permission first. Have heard he will also seek permission to speak with Golden and Strong as well, have not heard the dates for those.

Last evening I texted my Arkansas-raised friend and asked him what is going on in Fayetteville.

My hometown, but have been away a long, long time. My how the town has changed from my boyhood, not all for the better. Of course, I'm older than dirt (listened to the Vols beat Georgia Tech 6-0, on the radio). Not many seasons left, so I hope all of your info holds true. Been awhile since Tennessee fans have truly had an occasion to be excited.

Bruin, go back to when this all started. One of the main things said was Gruden didn't want his name mentioned with a job that wasn't open and didn't want to look like he was helping push Dooley out. Fast forward to Dools being fired, it started being mentioned more in the media and Ainge basically he admitted he was blowing smoke to"back Cutt" now he's not just back on the bandwagon, he's driving it. It's happening dude just let it play out.
