I know this probably doesn't mean much from someone you've never met, but I'm proud of you, bro. I have my share of adversity, but one must refuse to give in and quit- even if you stumble. In the words of Jimmy V, "Don't give up. Don't ever give up." Lot's of folks on your side that are rooting for you even if you don't know us. You can win this thing.

You good people

I posted this yesterday, but it bears repeating.

Those shoes scream senior-citizen power walking in the mall.

sounds about right

If I was in Gruden's shoes knowing several pro and college teams want me, I would deny interest in the best offers to see if they sweeten the pot some. This would increase my leverage without me having to look greedy, especially if I am reasonably happy in my current job.

The ones remaining will not give up on dooley because they feel it violates their belief of "fandom". They'll catch up once Dooley is gone.

I am really sick of the Doolites questioning my fandom. I am especially tired of alumni telling me that can't criticize Dooley bc I didn't graduate from UT, however many of those alumni telling me that can't name five guys on the team.

I agree..That is getting old..To me, wanting the best for your program is the definition of a real fan..We are UT and we deserve the best coach $$$$ can buy and that would be Gruden,IMO.

Tennessee is the state school and is a national brand. Fans worldwide. We want the best for UT and recognize Dooley is not the answer and we deserve better. I am an alumni and I say screw anyone that segments Vol fans. The tent will get bigger with a proven winner at the helm. Bring on Chucky!!!

Preach it!:clapping:

Jay that's the way all these posters with info should be. The ones that have said 100per are setting themselves up for serious riticual. No signature means no one should say 100per

Don't mistake this as a change or backtracking. I still feel the way I have felt:

It would be a monumental punch in the berries if it doesn't happen. UT football under Dooley has been a s**t-show. Bad situation he inherited or not. We are in year 3 and just gave up 721 yards to a Sunbelt Conference team that isn't even winning their conference. It's pathetically inexcusable. The decisions that have been made have been horrendous. They seem to be geared more towards insulating Dooley to extend his continued robbery rather than to improve the team. My confidence in our AD's competency is virtually non-existant. Luckily, it's our boosters that have taken the lead on this deal. I don't care what it takes, "no" is not an acceptable answer. The program is on life-support. We need an ounce of cure rather than a pound of excuses.

TOS is in full on melt down right now apparently. Just got another call saying we don't get Gruden or any name of significance. I thought I needed some Ativan this morning, good Lord!

It seems like the excuses way literally a ton.

From Berryrocksyourtop in another foum:

Lane Kiffin in 7 weeks, won the same amount of SEC games that Dooley has in 3 years.

Since 2010 Tennessee has lost more SEC games (17) than all of Tennessee's teams in the 90's did combined (15).

Please, someone who does not want to see Dooley gone, defend this.

It can't be said better than this. Love the avatar!
