I can definitely see your point, and its very possible. Tennessee's defense just scares the crap outta me!

Yeah, I'm aware of our defensive suckage. I think last week was a crazy week where our defense played the worst possible game they could. I don't think or hope we play that bad again this week.

Throw in the rollercoaster ups and downs, and this thread could literally drive you crazy. When it comes to Vol football, so much rides on the next few weeks. And yeah, there is more to life, but I really don't want to watch this program go completely down the toilet. I hope Hart can pull something magical out of his hat and fix the program the way it should be. I'd love to be able to face real opponents and know we have an actual chance to win. Not the "on any given Saturday" bs, but actually know we can compete week in and week out. Losing really sucks.

haha, I have no idea where they were before, but they are 19th now and Missouri is indeed 112th, I just looked it up. All I'm saying is its possible our D looks a little better this week. Probably not much, but a little.

Hard to imagine them looking worse. In fact, too scary to imagine.

I'm still at a loss about our D. Is it the scheme change? Inadequate talent? Bad coaching? I just don't know. What I do know is with two DB coaches, you'd think our secondary could actually cover, but somehow, they can't.

And just to throw it out there, I love AJ Johnson. That young man is the stuff Vols are made of.

I think Sal being up in the booth will really help. I predict we win easily and give up less than 20 points . . . . .

This is my 2 cents worth in our D.

Our kids are weak minded and don't know how to win. When the florida game went south they didn't know how to handle SS and his coaching style. His screaming Approach lead to some mistrust and eventually the kids have totally tuned him out. He can be a good dc but under a different circumstance. Our talent is just fine to be a 30-50 rated defense.

Yeah I don't think there is any way we could look worse. But I have no doubt we will make Missouri look a lot better than they are offensively. But since they are starting at 112th, you would think we would have to perform better than we did against Troy.

We couldnt keep Missouri Bible college under 35 points&Mizzou`s D isn`t too bad. I`ll never cheer 4 anyone but UT,but I aint gonna be shocked when the Dool-pigeon loses 2 Mizz&Vandy.
