I'm pro Gruden, no question. And I follow this board about 14 hours a day while I work.
I form opinions of the people that post on this board, too. Some are seeking ecred and post some pretty funny stories, and some seem pretty honorable.
Some are quick to say things when they have no idea what they're talking about.
According to Skeeter (most respected poster on this board, in most opinions) you and others must be dream weavers.
He says Gruden wants NOTHING to do with the job @ UT.
:hmm:
Actually he said no coach including gruden wants anything to do with the ut job in it current structure not he would never come.
To be honest I have no idea what your opinion is but I do know you had to have a reason to make your Skeeter comment and it does not sound like you are pro Gruden.

We couldnt even get Muschamp to take the HC position while he was a dc, all these coaches know whats going on here. Why you think someone like Dooley could get the buyout he has?
Pretty telling quote.
If you have followed the Gruden threads, then you should be familiar with my stance early on. I am not about any e-cred and it is up to the individual to decide who they choose to believe.
This was discussed pretty lengthy in the last few days in this thread. We know he wants complete control of the football program or he won't come. That is why the BOT meeting is extremely important. We knew this already.
I have kept up with it, and I know its broadcast live. I would watch, if I had time.
I agree how important it is. He also said these meetings rarely produce ANY changes. Time will tell, I suppose..
I know your stance Gman, but your initial response to me this morning ruffled my feathers. I was simply stating what skeeter said, and you somehow counted my vote against Gruden.
I'm back quiet..
Wasn't trying to ruffle your feathers voldawg, I just know a lot of fans come in this thread that are anti gruden and the dream weaver comment was over the top.
In the cliff notes skeeter is claiming that under the current structure we aren't able to provide tutoring to our student athletes.
Did I understand that correctly???
Surely that isn't true.
Please explain if anyone knows
I read that too and was confused. I thought we had a building devoted to Student Athlete tutoring? Isn't that how Haynesworth made it through? My wife had a class with him, she said he could hardly read (no joke).
