I know I have zero cred on here, new member, but I have a good friend who has a contact here in Murfreesboro that gives us info from time to time, he says his source says Dooley is gone 100% and that Gruden's Agent has the offer from UT and he will accept. I do not claim t be in the know, but I do trust my friend and he says he source is for real, just wanted to relay what I have heard

Well, good. I'd day your source is at the very least 50% right....probably more like 75%. Now we can throw that into our pile of cards.

What would it have helped? The majority of this coaching staff is incompetent.

Gruden wouldn't take over mid-season, if he's coming here.

Might have sparked the players. I never said Gruden would coach mid-season. It would just make me feel better knowing he wasn't there.
