At this point isn't Hart endangering his own job by not getting this over with? IF the boosters are telling him to do it now that is.

Let me restate that.... Before Siegle and Blackman High Schools were built. Still draws over 10k. Used to draw more fans than MTSU did. That game was played at Middle and would be standing room only.

I appreciate the apology but it's unnecessary. I also apologize for some of the insults I've hurled your way. I don't typically resort to that type of behavior but when it's coming at me from all directions I tend to fire back in haste.

My issue with you has never been for sharing what you are hearing but rather calling out others who do the same while accusing them of seeking e-cred -- all while denying that as your motivation. Post whatever you wish, just allow others to do the same without having to fight against your circle of insiders when they do so.

LWS is a long time respected poster on several boards I frequent. Disagree with him all you want, but the attacks are petty imo.

The only e-cred guy I've said one word about is one guy that uses 3 capital letters to begin their screen name. Not going to get into that again tho. Larry is a long time poster. I have no beef with him at all. He has given good info in the past. I don't deny that. However, if I ever post something that bad, I deserve all the crap I catch from doing so. I may be many things, but I will own what I say- good or bad.

Regardless, I'm done with this back and forth with you. Enjoy your supper.

1. I haven't read all of your post so I wouldn't know.

2. I have been on here long enough to realize Larry is a solid poster that he has been in the know on many things.

I think he also posts a lot of his opinion as well, and I have had several discussions with him. I have disagreed with a lot of his takes on Dooley and UTs "want to' when it comes to letting him go and paying for another coach.

As it stands I think Dooley is gone and I have thought that for a while. I also think UT is fixing to spend a competitive amount of money that will put us in a position to win in this league. It will not be in the 2 mil range that has been floated around here before as the most UT will spend.

Harts gonna be judged on his ability to close the deal on a big hire. Unlike the Hamilton/Fulmer situation, his decision on firing Dooley is not the one that makes or breaks him.

Conduct the search via a 3rd party or behind the curtain.

Saying there's a chance this continues next year is absolute madness.

I shudder to think about what another year of this would look like.

All that said, I'm pushing my chips in for Gruden.

Massive change for the direction of the program. Shows UT is serious about competing. Nuclear blast of attention on the program.

Maybe we've only got a few outs in the deck, but Please...make it happen. Please.
