But I sat outside with a couple of cold ones earlier today and still got some red on my cheeks. (Which I assume was from the sun and not from the Pacifico.)

It most certainly is. Oh, there's hummingbirds too. I'd never seen them before. And red-tailed hawks, which probably keep down the hummingbirds, now that I think about it...
