Absolutely no way since JJ just got rheemed in the press for his "We are not making front office changes. My way has been very effective" interview.

If he turned around and gave a coach control, he would never hear the end of it.

Unless this guy is trolling volquest (which he is very insistent that he is not), I really hope his family member is somehow mistaken about Gruden being at the Cowboys facilities.

I am not concerned about Gruden to the Cowboys. What concerns me are the claims in the article (and on the various Arkansas forums that everyone has been linking to) that Jerry Jones is somehow involved in trying to get Gruden to Arkansas. I know that everyone thinks Arkansas fans are delusional, but when I read their posts, they sound almost identical to the posters on here claiming that they have sources.

That coupled with this volquester who swears that Gruden was in Jerry Jones' office today is what makes me a little uncomfortable.

Is anyone else sick of the Arkansas fans that make comments like this... "Yeah, Tennessee has been really tearing it up....big time program my butt. "

Top 10 in wins and winning percentage and suddenly half a decade of being down and you're not a big time program. I've also seen their fans say Michigan isn't either. The stupidity of Arkansas fans ranks pretty high. They have three 10 win seasons in the past couple decades and suddenly they think they're hot s***. It's ridiculous.

Well, if what we hear is true, that Gruden wants control, the Cowboys is the last place on Earth he'd want to coach. Don't care if Jones hems and haws about giving control over to a coach... that is one thing that will never, ever, ever happen. Jones has destroyed what he once had because of his rampant ego getting out of control. Hell, it's why Jimmy Jones left. It's why they aren't as good as they used to be. Now, I ain't saying there isn't a possibility, I mean money talks and bull*it walks and all that, but if control is an issue... Dallas ain't looking too good for him. UT and other teams have a better shot, that is *if* what we hear about Gruden wanting control is true. And, after his tenure at Tampa I can understand why he'd have control on the top of his list.
