I have been a life long Tennessee fan. Sold cokes in Neyland as a teenager a long time ago. If they hire another assistant coach it will tell me they are not serious about having a championship program. I will not support that program until they decide to get into the football business. It would be such a slap in the face to loyal UT fans. 100,000+ seat stadium, some of the most loyal and rabid fans, huge donor base and they expect the fan base to accept a coordinator from rival program. If they do it, I'll find something else to do with my time and money.

I just can not believe anyone by the name of Kirby could be the head coach of the Vols. I mean Kirby? Seriously? No.

Saw some references to Toots. Sucky sucky wings

Hooters is only slightly better.

Jonathan's in Franklin has great wings along with Sam's in Hillsboro Village in Nashville.

I don't like the idea of a Smart hire. I hate the idea of hiring another Sabanite. Post earlier noted Saban's micromanagement, and one could be skeptical because of HCDD and DCSS lack of success. Muschamp probably was given more freedom under Mack Brown, so hard to credit tutelage to Saban alone.

This hire is monumental for Tennessee football. The right guy (Gruden) returns Tennessee some of the luster that the last 2 tenures have worked so hard to tarnish. A return to where Tennessee football belongs, starting with a strong, united fan base, top recruiting classes, and the whole intimidation mid-tier SEC teams feel when they see the name on the schedule. No reason for Tennessee fans to EVER utter the words "if we beat Kentucky and/or Vanderbilt"......EVER!

Freddies wings in Manchester are the best in the world. Folks ship them all over America and Freddie is the biggest Vol fan you will ever meet. Great hole in the wall to watch a game but you will come out smelling like the world's best wings.
