My opinion is no. But you never say never. I highly doubt he is the coach next year. But if we can't get a big time hire with all this buzz surrounding Gruden, it might divide the fan-base even more. That or people on Volnation are the only ones really following it closely, and are going to be let down IF it doesn't happen.

I think you underestimate the importance of an MOU in coaching.

He did not sign an MOU with Notre Dame, and if he has signed one with us, there is little chance he will breach it.

Jay I missed a ton today as been super busy. Is your post from last night holding up. A friend text me that Jimmy Hyams said Gruden wants $9 million for his staff 5 of which is for himself? If that is accurate then if he had agreed to be our coach at $5 million. Then could that been before he dropped the other $4 million needed to finish his staff?

The answer still stands. No coaching staff that coaches a sport is worth 9 MILLION DOLLARS.

I agree! It's nuts. Gruden has us where he wants us. We're a fan base dying of wins and he knows will pay whatever it takes to be on top. Sad kinda, but it is what it is.
