If they were not part of the media they would have never got off the Gruden train IMO

Maybe. I swear...I think Ainge was getting bad info. Maybe I'm wrong cuz, as I now know, the leaks weren't exactly behind the drywall...IMO

At least the general information.

I find it odd that posters keep posting what those posters say in other threads but the posters never come in here and post anything.

There is a lot of insanity in this thread. LWS posted in the announcement thread in this forum. SBV is MIA and Skeeter sticks to the recruiting forum it seems. It's hard to deal with at times and hard to keep up with in this thread. I guarantee you they are lurking here a ton though.

What a difference a day makes.

Erik Ainge ‏@ErikAinge3

If Cut isnt coming, then I am back to what I know, FULL GRUDEN!! grudengrudengrudengruden

Let's just let USA Today make our hire.

There's no questioning Gruden's draw. But at the same time, could Tennessee be better off going with a current FBS coach with a track record of winning in a BCS conference? What about Pelini, who has proven himself capable of winning games in a similarly unorthodox situation at Nebraska? Or Strong, who has Louisville on the cusp of a BCS berth?

The best pick might even be Duke's Cutcliffe, the former UT assistant who has led the Blue Devils to six wins and bowl eligibility. He has both head coaching experience and the knowledge of what it takes to win at Tennessee. But it might be difficult for any program, even Tennessee, to pull Cutcliffe away from Duke

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

If they work within the AD like some claim, I think it speaks volumes as to why they have not been in this thread.

I respect the posters and is why I did not list their names on here.

Again, based on what I now know, and adding 2+2....I believe in this instance, the AD was the ones trying to airtight. The other sources like the "booster club" wasn't as sealed as everyone else.

Not sure anyone on VN more than a week do not know those names. I think they have either been told to not do it, fear reprisal if found out talking Gruden, or possibly do not want to deal with the silliness that happens here lol.

Amazing how posters were defending Ainge the past few weeks on his knowledge of Gruden. Dooley gets axed and now he is Gruden Gruden Gruden

That's probably the best all around hypothesis.

My source told me weeks ago that Hart was told to deny and deflect until the time arises.

Re: Ainge

The smoke is starting to clear now. The misdirection will continue to some degree but now that Dooley is officially gone, speculation is running rampant. What had no chance of happening (Gruden) in the eyes of media members, now does have a chance. I firmly believe some were in the know all along. Some have no clue and will never have a clue.

But it is quite interesting that Ainge has come full circle in a matter of a couple of weeks.
