Unfortunately, the UT job won't become "buzzworthy" until someone on the scale of Jon Gruden takes it. Then it will be something to talk about. The only buzz around the program right now are the buzzards circling overhead.

Exactly..thats what I meant with: (Unless you already knew what direction you were going) Basically, I'm saying that if you didn't have an idea who to go after, you would want all the buzz on Tennessee. Maybe I'm reading too far into that, but just another sign that looks good for Grude.

OCI has brought good info imo, like him or not there is not much that can be refuted.

Not only that, the coaching list you guys were ready to burn him at the stake over is almost the same exact names being thrown around by the Redskins media and others.

I wouldn't be so fast to cast a stone imo. It would be easy to latch onto others information but I think OCI is legit from a booster information perspective.

You would be surprised at some of the topics on Wednesdays...if breaking news were announced they would most certainly give it some play. But on Mon. morning, NFL talk takes up entire shows.

I cover college football, and watching it on Sunday causes severe burnout because I start working at 10 AM on Saturday morning and end around 3 AM Sunday morning.

Also, LOL at the notion that dave Hart is the guiding force behind this hire. They must also think that politicians come up with their agendas on their own.

I can't fathom the stupidity of some fans who think any coach in college football would be a better hire than Jon Gruden.

Even though I have been convinced for awhile, I was still listening to the PC thinking "holy s**t" as everything Hart was saying seemed to align with what has been said on here.

Multiple props to all of you guys for sharing what you know and think. It has certainly made the last couple of months a little less painful.

The important thing is that Gruden is coming..SOON!

Nothing else will matter once it's official..
