Been out of the loop for a couple of days...but figured I would bring some of this to everyone in here.

I just had a day dream. According to it we will see Gruden announced as head coach this Saturday at halftime. The band will form a big T and a monster truck will roll through to the power T on the field. After a 30 second boomsday finale style fireworks show Jon Gruden will climb out of the monster truck and hold a Tennessee helmet up in the air. Kiss will be playing Rocky Top out of the river side end zone. Bet on it! (don't really bet on it)

Anyone else get the sense Arky is panicking??? As soon as Vols can DD there is an offer. Should have done that awhile ago.

That am I was told directly from the AD office that it was not our man and who it would be... I took it as smoke and mirrors, but was trying to understand what Slice meant?????

The information I got was not from a sect, or someone like that but direct

Heard from my son (UT '01) in Afghanistan and he was pretty bummed about vandy game, but was cheered up immensely when he heard of dooley's firing. He is now all in for Gruden.
