Well I was actually more than a few years ago , 11 to be exact. Lived on middleboro court across from campus.

Tool is on my list of must see shows. Pink Floyd was at the top, but I seen Roger Waters do The Wall 2 years ago in Atlanta which made up for it.

It is an experience. Their sound guy is the heat...they always sound really good. And Maynard puts on a hell of show.

For you metal fans. The best thing about B'ham is that they has one of the better metal venues around (when they can get bands). Sloss Furnace is a great place to watch a rock/metal show. The best show Iv'e seen there was Slipknot.

Yeah... Your right. Some of them pitied us when we hired Dooley, but now they suck and I have no pity for them. Sorry, just being real. I lived through that 2010 season in the same dang house as a barner, and let me tell you it was almost too much. Thank god for alcohol!!!

Saw Pantera with White Zombie at Starwood. Tool twice...Spokane and Knoxville. Great shows.

I wished i could have seen Pantera and White Zombie (I LOVE Astrocreep) but I was too young when they were in their heyday. My old guitar teacher saw Pantera and White Zombie once, he said it's like 2 different shows. White Zombie has all kinds of effects and stuff when they play, and Pantera had no special fx at all, just loud music and beer.
