Why do people like Strong as a candidate? I don't think he's proven enough as a HC to be a good choice. If Gruden is a no go, we need to find another big name, and IMO, Charlie Strong is not a big name.

Can we concede that Hart is incompetent if we have no coach by next Monday (not this Monday)? Regardless of if it's Gruden or not, there's a point where recruiting opportunity is lost. I don't believe we can afford poor recruits at this point. I'd like to see Gruden here, but I'd also like to see Hart make some good decisions, whether that's in timing or coaching.

See how I said it wasn't done but not dead? Mirrors what babyvol said. It's my opinion. I think there is interest between the two but a lot to work out. Might be too much to work out in such a short amount of time given how Hart is interviewing other candidates and is a one man show.

IMO, if Hart is still interviewing on Dec 4th, then you can forget about any kind of recruiting class...

I like defensively minded coaches. Strong might not get the fan base excited but I think he could be good in the long run.

What I Have done personally for UT football is none of your business, to say to anyone who goes to a game and pays the outrages prices for concessions or souvenirs, that they dont have a say in what kind of showing our team puts on the field week in and week out is just..well dumb.
every one of UT fan base deserves better then what we got this year.

Yep. Stoops is aupposed to be a defensive guy but as today proved he needed to score 45 today to force OT. His defense has been terrible the last few years. NO stoops!!'
