i haven't bothered to read the other 700-odd pages of postings, so if this has been mentioned, please forgive me...

my parents, who live in Knoxville, just had a discussion this evening with a local restauranteur who told them the following:

Coaches Majors and Gruden, along with their wives, were dining at the restaurant owner's place last week... Coach Gruden brought her a photo to place on her wall (which, if you know the restaurant, is covered with Vol football photos)...

CJG said he loves her place, it's his favorite restaurant (also featured at one time on Blackledge's "Taste of the Town")... Coach Majors was hinting and making innuendo all evening that CJG would be the next HC of the the University of Tennessee... announcement coming within the next week...

The restauranteur also told my parents that construction is progressing on CJG's new home in Sevier County...

that's what i have to report... flame away...

Ye Olde Steakhouse....maybe dead end BBQ? Those have been on the show.

I'm having a real hard time buying that people on here that have 5, 12, 20 or so posts have all this information. Its like the trolls are coming out of the wood work. Take for instance the restaurant story up above. What is the name of the restaurant? Who is the source? Can someone go confirm that CJG left a picture at this "restaurant"? It would be pretty easy for a Florida, Alabama, or Georgia fan to make up a story and use a restaurant that was on Todd's taste of the town. Good try.

I can't believe I am about to post a rumor I heard but here it is...

I work at an elementary school in Knoxville. The secretary of my school is very close friends with the secretary at CAK(highschool). She informed me that Jon Gruden was enrolling his kid into the school. Apparently an announcement should be on the 30th of November.

I don't know if I believe this rumor, but it is as good as the other crap posted on this site.

What was cracked is that Condredge Holloway is VOLReporters source...but I think someone was onto it before me. After looking back I saw where someone brought up condredge in a reply to volreporter and VolReporter replied back wigh "ssssh" . So I figured it out, just didnt know the name had come out a few days ago....
