Not really. He had a bunch of players suspended for that game. His a good coach and a great recruiter. Not many people could pull top 15 classes at UNC and conestantly have them ranked. His better then most the choices I've seen.

Look on the brightside..Won't it be great to be able to have such low expectations in 4-5 years? I mean by then we will be like Vandy excited and talking about "shocking the world" when we win 7 or 8 games? And just think how wonderful it will be to go sit in Neyland on the first row, and stretch out while we watch our beloved Vols eke out another exciting win against Sun Belt powerhouse UAB.

Yes, but they actually got Saban. If we don't get Gruden that's what I'm saying...we're setting up a very bad deflating scenario for the coach who "does" get hired.
