I really needed to catch up on work and sleep tonight. Instead, I’m knee-deep in conspiracy theories and clinging to #grumors like a life raft.
Me too. If I keep ignoring my students while I refresh Volnation I think they are actually starting to worry about me. I’m afraid they are going to report me to the principle if I make them watch another video.

Currie is still here because of President Joe/Chancellor Davenport, Haslams influence, and potential legal problems with Schiano MOU. We are working on getting a public signal from a BIG coach tomorrow to create enough pressure to oust Haslam and Currie. We don’t know if it will work yet but it is all hands on deck.

I don't know who you are but the false hope you are so carelessly projecting is disrespectful to this community. Your efforts of drawing back the curtain, have gone a long way, and myself, as well as everyone else in the community appreciates it; however, the statement/claim you make here couldn't be further from the truth.

You won’t get anymore cloak and dagger stuff from me. Yes I mean Gruden. The Schiano hire greatly damaged our University and we are working the back channels to see if there is any chance with Gruden still if we can remove Haslam, Currie, and meet every single demand.

If Gruden gives a positive signal publically then President Joe will have no choice but to pursue because of the pressure from fans, local businesses, TN politicians, and Boosters.

IF this truly is the power play that has been presented
AND
Gruden really did come to some agreement in principal (written or verbal) with a significant booster faction
AND
Gruden does want to coach @ UT
AND
as we were led to believe, both Fulmer and Manning were on board
WHY
isn't the booster faction leveraging that with Davenport, DiPietro, et. al.?

It would seem that an arranged conference call with Gruden, his agent, Davenport, DiPietro, et. al. saying that he is interested would blow Currie and Haslam out of the water.

At some point in a contentious negotiation/power play, you force the hand of the other party into acting on their walk way position.

AND you make this publicly known.

Hawk, does this sound familiar?

What they did is essentially strap a bomb to their chest and ran into a crowd. Yes they damaged a lot of people but they blew themselves up in the process. No one thought in a million years they would do that. Currie is a lame duck AD until the day he is fired.

They meaning Currie and Davenport? Because the root of the problem is haslam and if Currie and Bev are ousted, he will just get replacement robots.

My friend believes if they offer he will take it. His first voice is A&M. I’m trying to warn him. He’s a really good coach and guy and will not deserve the crap he will endure because of Currie and Haslam.

Good guy or not, don't let up, put on more steam.

Regardless of the nuclear fission going on within the UTAD, Morris is not the answer. Period.

The resistance better get off their collective asses and not just hold the line but move the line toward the goal. Not sure we have 48 hours left for this to work. But I like it!

Now I like Blackburn a lot but he does have certain issues - some of which may have lead to his departure from UTC.

Blackburn is there to smooth things out with Gruden..Phil to reassure that things are in place
