Folks, on a serious note, GOOD JOB VOLNATION!!!!! We showed everyone that a fanbase can unite and not be pushed around by big money boosters. We should continue to email, tweet, and call, but let's all change our tune and tell them thank you for what they've done.

I trust Fulmer on this hire. Whoever he decides to hire, we should support the new coach. Fulmer knows what we need right now and he'll definitely "work like heck" to get us a good coach. Let's get this program back to winning!

A little off topic but I wanted to share. My son has been struggling with depression for a while. A few weeks ago he almost made a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Luckily, we got to him before anything could happen. He is doing better now but today,when Currie was fired and Fulmer was announced as the AD, is the first time I have heard him laugh and act happy in a long time. He has a long way to go but this gives me hope. Thank you to Volnation and all those in the Gruden thread. You made a change in Tennessee football but also probably in a young mans life. I pray for his health more than anything but also for the the return to the dominance of Tennessee football. I want him to see it and not just here my stories about it. Go Vols!

I struggle with depression myself ... have for decades. Silly as it may sound, this whole search has taken it's toll on me. I say this to say, I can relate. Prayers. Tell him to hang in there. It Will Be Okay.

I took it that he was talking about coaches, but it goes without saying that recruits that were not interested before will be now.:)

The last 10 years have been awful. Today feels like a rebirth. I’m not trying to be all hokey but see Phil up there talking about His family, talking about TN tradition and winning championships just took me back to my childhood. Feelin’ good yall.
