How stringent are TN driving laws regarding pants?

Once upon a time, I was driving back to Murfreesboro after trout fishing the Caney Fork. I had focused my attention on a deer across the river and stepped into a hole and the water came up above my waist. Typically I carried a change of clothes on such trips, but this was a trip of impulse so I didn’t plan ahead. I tossed my shorts into the back of the truck and made the drive home in boxer shorts.

Right as I crossed back into Rutherford County a sheriff’s car lit me up. When he walked up to my window he paused and did his best to not laugh. I blurted out, "I fell in the river!" He countered with, "And it ate your trousers?"

No ticket. So you’re good.

Hubbs keeps mentioning Steele. Said Phil interviewed him and Mel Tucker this weekend. Hopefully for DC for Gruden and not HC.

Right click, "Inspect Element"...I have to say this might not work because I use a pretty weird web browser. The url for the element will show up when I do this.

Here is the whole thing if you want to clip it:

Thanks, but that type of technology is above my pay grade. That is why I could not figure it out last night.

I did a baptizing in a creek many years ago and had to drive back to the church in my bvds. Of course I waited until everyone left the creekbank to slip out of my wet trousers and hop in the truck.
