I agree. One of my key takeaways from the press conference yesterday was that bev found Phil's presence to be stabilizing.

IMO, Bev saw the writing on the wall (or read it in the many Vol Nation emails and tweets) and switched sides to save her a$$. Currie would have been smart to do the same thing. He rode the wrong horse into the ground and paid the price--his career or any shot at having a career in an athletics dept.
