While Hubbs is never right on this whole thing, this makes me sick to my stomach. Not only do we get a second tier guy, but we probably get the second-to-the-second tier guy

The bomb is Tennessee is giving up on championship caliber football.

Well Dooley was the 9th choice and Strong will be our 5th or 6th choice. I guess thats improvement. At that rate, we will have our man by 2022.

I hate to say it, but if we hire Strong, wait and see what happens to Season ticket sales here in upper east tn.

Can't speak for everyone, but everyone I speak with here are not planning on renewing TFWIW.

I wouldn't worry about Lowe: No media has accurately predicted anything within the last few days. I'm sure he's speculating based off all the rumors flying around regarding Strong that we're hearing, mixed with the fact that Ark/Auburn have already made their hires. It's a very standard informed prediction, stated as fact, even though it's far from it.

Regarding Hubbs comment - no way I'm buying that. You don't leave a guy hanging who's agreed to be the next coach to wait to hear back from someone else, or if you do, you don't make that knowledge public. That's insulting the guy lined up for the job.

Breathe easy folks.

Does Strong really want it public knowledge that he is our runner up? Seems strange to announce this.

I'm not real concerned about the validity of this statement, but it this was true, don't you think Strong would be POd? I would be.

"We're going to get coach Gundy, Mr. Strong. But if he turns us down, we'll call you."

I'm n bed on my phone right it's driving me crazy I want to get on my MAC to see what all is going on bit I can't right now leg feels like a fire inside driving me batty got appt with vascular doc next week

Gruden or Tennessee football will continue to be on life support for the next 3 or 4 years till we fire whoever....there how is that for overreacting????? I don't care. It is how I feel in the moment.
