Nice! I thought about adding Petrino but the half a season with the Falcons complicated my system. Golden could also be added, but nothing significant one way or the other yet. Frank Beamer could be added too. He continued his success in VT's jump from the Big East to the ACC. Still, the Big East is a much weaker conference now then it has ever been. I wouldn't mind Strong for around 2.75 if there was no one else, but if the Gruden thing is all BS I hope everyone turns us down and forces us to pay a big name.

I wouldn't have added Golden.

He jumped from the MAC where Temple was at the time to the ACC, where he took over a probation-shattered Hurricane program. The guy could well be a solid hire there once the NCAA storm cloud wore off. Or, he could well be a clean up guy the Miami boosters have in place to restore NCAA cred until all restrictions are removed.

Oakland's win in this season's finale knocked the Buccaneers out of the playoffs and ultimately pushed Gruden out of his job. His firing Friday came as something of a shock. The Raiders' response the next day did not.

Butch Davis is one of our better options if Gruden doesn't happen. The flavor of the month group of Fedora, Strong and Golden have me concerned.
