I read speculation on an AU board that OC Scott Loffler hasn't been well received and some of the coaches under his direction are making his job very difficult, similar to what happened in 2008 with Tubberville's OC Tony Franklin that was fired mid-season. Anyone want to guess who was said to be one of the coaches that are undermining Loffler? Arkansas had zero sacks on defense against Bama and A&M and against Auburn had 8. The O-line and QBs are a complete mess. Chizik has said he's going to "oversee" the offense going forward. That should work out well.

Some younger players have been firmly promised early playing time and aren't getting it, even with the team struggling. That's a another source of player discontent. Transfers and decommits are in the Barn's future. I hope we can benefit from it. Perhaps even some coaching changes. It's a disaster on the Plains. Pat Dye says Chizik won't get fired regardless of his record. Not sure I believe that, even with a $7M buyout and some NC equity left.
