*OFFICIAL* March Madness Game Discussion Thread

I think one thing about Michigans “scary” wins like blowing out Purdue and Michigan State.

Those teams are 188 and 135 in defensive efficiency.

Tennessee will not let Michigan dictate the game

I mean if any team has a bad shooting night they are likely to lose. We are the better team.
Exactly. If you don’t shoot well and take care of the ball, anybody can send you home. If we play to our capability and they play to theirs, UT wins. We’ll have to see who shows up.

This is not a Michigan team you want to play in the 2nd round.
You just knew it would be Michigan. They've got a tinge of blue to their blood. No way CSU had a chance with the refs. I agree with you. Just not who I wanted to see in the second round. Just got a little queasy feeling thinking about that one.

I’m not scared of Michigan, but I do think they are a worse matchup for us than CSU just based on the fact they have more talent that has just gone underutilized. Their 25-point beat down of Purdue in February kind of shows their ceiling when all things are clicking, so you just hope the mediocre version of Michigan shows up, and there is a good chance they do.

Looks like Providence might get lucky again.
What the crap was that SD kid doing? You can’t get anywhere near the player there. It’s impossible to block it from where he was. Just go get the rebound. What a dumb play and it cost his team a chance to maybe tie the game.

Yeah, if he makes a desperation 28 footer as the clock runs out, you just have to live with it there. Never put yourself in a position to get the officials involved on that shot.

It's complete BS that Michigan made the tournament let alone gets to play as an 11 seed only 4 hours from their home stadium..
and they get the first game. the higher seed should have the benefit of the early game so they can scout their next opponent afterwards

GA State is going to hang with Gonzaga way longer than people expect. Zags pull away second half to win by 15 but it’ll be single digits with under 10 to go. That’s my prediction anyway. We shall see.

One of Georgia State's players just got seriously hurt. :(

My luck with Iowa. At the last minute I moved them all the way to the EE.
I didn't think Michigan would win, and bought into Iowa. I've been arguing with Big 10 fans online about how they deserve to have half a million teams in the tournament. :-/
