Official March Madness Thread

I won't be able to coherently get my thoughts out for a little bit but that was amazing. Down by 14 with 5 to play, 11 with 3 to play and they never quit. Youngest team in the field is now an Elite 8 squad. Thank God for Trey Burke and Elijah Johnson's pea-sized brain.

This. I've never seen a player pass up an uncontested floater to tie the game with a second left. Great heart by Michigan; great blunders by KU.

And, when will coaches realize that up by 3, with five seconds left, you ****ing foul!

tOSU fans won't admit it. They think Aaron craft schoole Burke during the regular season. But Burke>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Craft

Its not that big of a difference. When both are at their best burke is better but craft is more consistent.

Thought the same thing.

More pissed off than nervous...I think we took a nap when KU-Michigan went to OT.

The fact that you thought Georgetown was significantly better than sdsu is what disturbs me.

SDSU would have been a horrible match up for Florida.

Georgetown is better than SDSU. The Hoyas routinely lose to double-digit seeds in the Big Dance, and SDSU is SDSU...no one expects them to advance past the first weekend since Kuwai Leonard got drafted by the Spurs.

Refs grabbed MSU-Duke by the horns and wouldn't let go. Pretty sure the two teams combined for at least 30 fouls in the second half, that was ridiculous.

Had a little time to go over the matchups before I snooze. My picks: Marquette/OSU/Michigan/Louisville. Marquette just wins games, there's not really much else to say there. And they won the only meeting between the two this year. I think Wichita keeps it close, but Ohio's probably too athletic for the Shockers. I'll be rooting for the upset, though. Michigan matches up really well with Florida - I like Patric Young, but you won't have to worry about driving inside and meeting the nation's best shot blocker like tonight. Also, Michigan's backcourt advantage, Trey Burke being Trey Burke, etc. Louisville is just balling right now. It's hard for me to see a scenario in which they aren't the national champion.

EDIT: Just remembered the dome effect discussed earlier. 40% of Florida's field goal attempts are threes, so there's that.
