I couldn't figure out what was wrong with the Duke player who had just hit the 3. He looked back and saw what happened and went completely distraught.

I thought the Duke player must've got hit in the side of the head. And then they showed the three Louisville guys in the paint on the ground and I had no idea what happened until they showed the replay. Sickening.

Sitting here thinking about it, I agree with Jim Nantz. I've never seen anything close to that on a basketball court.

It looked so freakish to me. He's probably defended a three point shot like that thousands of time I would think.

He closed out on a shooter, flew by him and when he landed his leg snapped.

Yeah. Jumped to block a shot, came down and the leg buckled.

And Ware's had knee injuries before

I believe the shin bone was protruding through the skin

Prothro was the worst I've seen. This was much worse than Prothro.

Bones breaking are worse than ligaments tearing.

I just hope Ware recovers, and we never see that replay again.

If you watch the bench reaction on youtube, when Ware's leg is literally hanging there, everyone on the bench just turns away. It was awful.
