Official March Madness Thread

This game reminds me of Pearl on Mike and Mike this morning. They asked him about the officiating this year, and Pearl said that he thought a philosophy change would be made in the offseason to call a tighter game. He said part of the reason for lower point averages is because if the physical nature of the game. He thought they would begin to call it tighter to allow for a better flow on offense. He also thinks that they will change to the NBA charge-block call, which I didn't realize was different. Evidently the NBA rule is more advantageous to the offense and stresses that defensive player has to be set once offensive player jumps toward basket. Defensive player cannot slide over at any point of offensive move- I believe Pearl called it a half of a second difference in rules.

I know players are faster and stronger these days, but I think officiating has been rough this year.

His 1/2 time speach sounded like a keep your chin up and be proud of all you accomplished.

i mean there is swallowing the whistle but this is beyond belief... I mean brings a whole new meaning to "no blood, no foul".

Louisville is aggressive and physical on defense but there's no way the fouls should be 8-3 in UM's favor. They're not quick enough to stop Siva and Smith.

Edit 9-3 now. Every time Burke drives its a foul. Good gracious.

Funny when Siva ends up on the floor there's no body contact and when its Burke or Albrecht its a foul. This is getting out of control in UM's favor.

Of all calls you call that one!? Burke's play os the one clean one. This is an embarrassment on the NCAA trotting these ass-clown officials out there.
