Yeah, I kind of messed up there. Wilkipedia's not the sight I would be using to try to prove something though.

I guess I'm the only person on here that doesn't love Montoya. I can't believe he has so many fans on here despite the fact that he has yet to accomplish anything in Nascar.

why not? it's right. i know it's right. i knew you were wrong. again.

I could easily go on there and change it. Also add Aric Almirola to list of non american drivers. He was born in Florida, but I'm pretty sure he lived outside of the US for awhile.

Why no love for David Ragan? He's had basically the exact same season as Montoya and he has alot less experience than Montoya.

There's no excuse for a pit reporter to not even get the track right. A few weeks ago Speake said we'll be right back at Milwaukee and they were in Kentucky.

or when the girl pit reporter at Charlotte asked Jr who designed the camo on his car?

I know of 2, maybe 3, JPM fans here. He has the same number of wins as Matt Kenseth, Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and 1 more than Kurt Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Not bad company to be in or ahead of in 2007.

David Ragan has been driving stock cars for years with a top organization. He also has fewer wins.

I don't know about him ever living outside of the US, but he apparently does have some Cuban ancestry.

Edit to add:

Almirola, a Tampa, Fla., native of Cuban descent,
Almirola was introduced to racing by his mother’s father – Sam Rodriguez, a Florida native. Almirola’s father, Ralph, came to the United States from Cuba at age four during the Freedom Flights of the mid-1960s.

At least Harvick, Hamlin, Busch, and others have contended for multiple wins, Montoya on the other hand has yet to impress me. He's becomming a danger for the other competition out there.

Again, more guys with vast experience and better teams compared to JPM. How many wins has Ragan competed for?

I'd have given anything for JPM to come into NASCAR about 10 years ago or at least around the age of 20 instead of going on to do bigger and better things for himself.

How many wins has JPM competed for not counting road courses that hes driven on for ever. JPM's an embarrasment for the sport with the stuff he pulls.

JPM would be done with racing if he would have entered 10 years ago. Dale Sr wouldn't have put up with his antics.

:eek:lol:

The point I was trying to make is it is harder to adapt to a particular style of car later in your driving career. I doubt Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart would even be as successful as they are now in stock cars if they started today. The fact that JPM has won his only two stock car road races and finished in the top 5 within five Cup starts on an oval is astounding.

As big of a Earnhardt fan as I am, he had bigger issues to deal with 10 years ago other than putting drivers in their place.

OK. That's all I feel like for this round.

Also, if you want to talk about a road course specialist competing in Nascar then I take Boris Said. He's way more of a driver than Juan is.
