Didn't see anything that Crosby did that would warrant a match penalty. I think the penalty on Sissons will be tossed because it doesn't meet the requirement for a match penalty either..........and not because they wont give Crosby one.

Spot on, but when Webber choke slammed a dude into the boards that's just hockey. Sometime this place cracks me up.

Most of the time when you see the match penalty, its when a player uses his stick like an axe or something or the hitting of a defenseless player like interference.....see the Scott Stevens's greatest hits lol

Nicely played, I always wondered how much better would Lindros had been with out the concussions. That hit was nasty

It's the optic of him repeatedly knocking Suban's head into the ice. You have to remember that at leat in the Nashville side and the side of all the new viewers who are tuning in becuase of the hype over the Bridgstone atmospherr, you are dealing with a lot of people who don't know the history of the game and who expect penalies to be assessed even handedly whether the offender is a superstar or a 4th line player. If the NHL wants those people to keep watching they will have to figure this out.
