Feel bad for any Pens fan that thinks it is a good idea to go celebrate on Broadway tonight.

Not that I condone it, but some drunk Preds fans will take some anger out.

I laugh at all of the hockey traditionalists putting down Nashville as a team, fans and city. F em. Saying Subban chirps too much. How unclassy the chants are about you suck. This ain't golf. More teams need to watch and learn. We are a young team and will be contenders for a very long time. We'll be back

Possibly, though a lot of the really upset ones likely just went home.

Plus with CMA fest not having ended yet, police presence is likely really up on Broadway for the rest of the night...likely serving as quite a deterrent.

This is the biggest gut punch I can recall as a sports fan since UT blew a chance to play for a national title in the 2001 SEC title game.

Yeah I figured you had taken my saying "the rock/ best goalie" (which in the context of the post and quoted post meant on the team being discussed) as having meant "overall" or "in the league."

But to generally ask again, to what age in this league do the better goalies tend to last on average?

Pretty sure he knew what you meant and is just trolling you.

Brodeur played until he was like 43, but started to tail off around 38. Pekka should be alright through the last two years of his contract, but it's also time to start developing someone unless we think Saros is the answer.

I think if it were not for the call against the Preds on the goal then the crowd would have reacted differently at the end.

Hold pill to swallow when the puck rolls through the goalie's legs and is never controlled by the goalie. Also, to think that was the same ref that didn't call the Crosby dribbling of Subban's head off the ice.

Preds cost themselves the series when they didn't pull out Game 1.

Good run. I think it'd be in the team's best interest to move Rinne if possible, but Winnipeg and Calgary are about the only teams that might want a #1 and Flower and Raanta are there for less.

A fluke injury to Johansen was all that separated Nashville from the cup. I would target Brian Boyle or Bonino in the offseason to add some serviceable talent down the middle. Free agency is barren, but there's a lot going right in Nashville.

Just imagine how much money the bars have made due to this playoff run? It's like having an ATM machine put money in the back. The mark up on beer is ridiculous

The '99 Titans Super Bowl for me & one yard short. Even at 7 years old it really hurt.
