Well, since no one has started the official thread for the game, guess I could do that because I am getting so nervous I have to get on here and do something.

I think we play our best game of the year today. Anybody agree?

Fifteen minutes to go...get 'em Vols!!!

I expect this team to do the same stupid stuff they have been doing all year. We had a hard time against SC at home, how will this be better.

Come on Vols, prove me wrong.

I don't think I have ever been as unsure about what is going to happen in my life. There's all sorts of possibilities for how the team is going to react.

If it rains, then I'm really worried about us fumbling. We have 2 or 3 when it's dry. :ninja:

The rain only means more injuries, and that only makes the rest of the schedule that much harder.

Can't wait until Brady Quinn gets to meet the defensive line facemask to facemask.

The rain is probably our friend though.

Wouldn't rain take away the speed of our defense?

Probably so, but the grass is going to be 6 inches high anyway. :D

I'm just thinking that if we're going to play ugly, it might as well rain and make it harder for them to throw and catch too.

Notre Dame has a great campus. I wish that I could be there to watch the game today. Maybe our offense will be better with a TD Jesus looking down on them.

Sissy Sons of Notre Dame,
Sing her glory and sound her shame
Paint her black and blue,
And sneer with voices true,
Hah! Hah! for Notre Dame.
We will lose in every game
Weak of heart and true to her shame.
We wish to forget her
And we'll cheer her never,
Spoils to Notre Dame.

CHORUS:
Queers Cheer for Notre Dame
Wake up the pansies cheering her name,
Send the volley cheer on high,
another blunder in our eye,
what though the odds be great or small
Old Notre Dame's the underdog to all,
While her loyal boys are prancing
Without a victory.

It is just surreal looking at that graphic showing ND's record at 5-2 and ours at 3-4. :shakehead:
